Exhibitions and trade meetings are held at WBC with the collaboration of overseas cooperative organizations. The aim of these events is to promote imports by introducing overseas products, parts and technologies to companies in the Yokohama area. Seminars are also held focusing on topics such as overseas economic, trade and investment climates.

1. Event Details

Exhibitions and trade meetings are held through the joint cooperation and sposorship of the Yokohama Industrial Development Corporation, Yokohama Import Mart, Inc., the City of Yokohama, other organizations in the Yokohama area together WBC, and cooperative overseas organizations.

2. Term of Events

The term of exhibitions and trade meetings shall be are held for a term of one week or less.

3. Event Space

Events are taken space at the multi-purpose floor, exhibition spaces, and conference rooms in WBC and exhibition and conference rooms in Yokohama World Porters

4. Contents of Exhibition & Trade Meeting

• Exhibitions and trade meetings for products, parts and other items which foreign companies wish to enter newly to the Japanese market.
• Exhibitions and trade meetings for products, parts and other items which are aimed at expand the market in Japan.
• Exhibitions and trade meetings for those which aim to procure and develop the technologies joinlly.
• Exhibitions and trade meetings for those which are complied with other goals of WBC.

5. Role and Accounts

(WBC)

• Producing and mailing of pamphlets and related expenses.
• Exhibition hall fee (except when sales are involved), fee for basic hall decorations.
• Half the fee for the opening of corporate exchange meetings.

(Overseas Cooperative Organizations)

• Transportation of exhibits to and from WBC and related expenses.
• Drafting the pamphlets and providing the required materials such as photographs, panels etc.
  and related expenses.
• Exhibition hall fee (only when sales are involved), fee for special hall decorations.
• Half the fee for the opening of corporate exchange meetings.
